Beaconsfield and surrounding areas – 3 family homes

We have recently completed 3 projects in and around Beaconsfield and others further afield.  We worked closely with our client's when  planning and developing our most recent commission as the brief was to convert their home to fit the needs of a growing family. Our ADI team, planned new windows throughout, a new kitchen, underfloor heating, 4 new bathrooms, en suite bedroom and dressing room and 2 new bespoke flights of stairs. We completed the look with new doors throughout, bespoke joinery, high quality floor finishes and a unique zinc and glass roof to the rear which would offer our clients a view of the mature gardens as if they were included in the home. The project was managed by our specialists in all aspects of design and took us 9 months to complete from start to finish.

In our second project, the team of Interior Designers and CAD specialists were asked to consider was the re-development of a modern house, the project was to include the removal of walls and a chimney breast.  The kitchen, sitting room and orangery were developed with under floor heating, new bespoke cabinetry including a bar and a walnut hall floor.  The master bedroom with ensuite,  2 dressing rooms and a transormation of the staircase completed the design work followed by re-decoration throughout. The result being a magnificent new home for a young family.

Our third locally based project was again Project Managed and included the removal of a wall which originally divided the kitchen and dining room.  The final space became one glorious family-sized kitchen.  Major structural considerations were necessary on this project which included under floor heating, a utility room, new bi-fold doors leading to the garden, new flooring, new internal doors and decorated at a high finish.  Even the family dogs have a new space!

Westminster, London - apartment

We have recently completed the renovation of a 1920’s apartment in Westminster, where we sympathetically designed and re-modelled the interior living spaces. This was a particularly interesting refurbishment in many ways as we not only had to work in collaboration with the Property Management Company and Westminster Planning Department, but also Historic England due to the tight restrictions of the Grade II Listing of  the property. Our ADI design and build teams worked together with our client throughout the process to create an enchanting central London apartment, boasting a total re-wire and dual heating system throughout. In addition, a new AV system, new windows and doors were featured.  The restoration work to original wood-block floors and cornices was essential to satisfy the Grade II listed status.

Islington – mid terrace property

One of our Islington projects was a typical mid-terrace London house which, shall we say, ‘required attention’.  After 9 months of re-development, this 5 storey property was totally redeveloped producing a beautiful and most welcoming home.  New electrics and plumbing throughout were necessary together with wall removal and tanking to create a stunning lower ground floor kitchen, dining room and bar area.  The original floor boards were sanded and treated, the original sash windows renovated and rooms decorated throughout.  External works included drainage and paving to the front and back gardens, which completed the all-encompassing transformation.

Loughton, Essex – family home

This family home in Essex took a year to complete as ADI was contracted to carry out all aspects of the refurbishment.  The interiors were ripped out leaving the team an empty shell which was then transformed by our expert designers and builders into a wonderful new home for our clients.  This included new plumbing and electrics, underfloor heating, kitchen and bathroom installations, flooring, staircases, joinery works and bespoke cabinetry.   The clients and designers worked together to choose appropriate furniture and soft furnishings which would enhance the new home.  The clients took a break away for a week and the team completed the project, and included  made up  beds, and flowers as the final finishing touches! This entire project was managed every step of the way overseeing the installation of stored items from the client's previous house. The owners have since described this complete project as ‘a Triumph’ and we are now working on the external spaces, including extensive landscaping and external lighting.

Jersey – holiday home

Having completed a part interior fit at a beautiful Georgian property in Jersey, we have been re-engaged to supply further soft furnishings. This will be the 5th phase in which the client has engaged the highly experience ADI team who sourced furniture and accessories from several different countries which were then shipped to Jersey.  All aspects of ordering, transportation and shipment were handled by ADI to ensure a smooth project from start to finish.

Other work in Jersey has recently included a facelift of some commercial premises where we have once again sourced and installed furniture befitting the style of the building, following the client's instructions.

West Sussex – family home

We have recently been fully involved in the renovation of a charming 1920’s family home. This property has undergone a complete overhaul, including an orangery, kitchen, bathrooms, lighting, windows, underfloor heating, media system, flooring, carpets, a wine cellar and a full re-decoration. The ADI team has worked very closely with the client for many months discussing the re-design of a home which would be sympathetic to her needs. As the client needed to move out of her home of many years (should this be months?) into a rental property, ADI  helped with the removal and storage to minimise the impact of the move.

This year, ADI has worked on a listed family home in Hertfordshire, where our services included working hand-in-hand with the client, the architect and the builder.  Very tight building restrictions required us to apply to the council for permission to make sensitive alterations to internal and external aspects of the property. The home is now complete and the clients have expressed their delight with all the alterations which included new bathrooms, dressing rooms, utility room, bedrooms, floors, windows, bi-fold doors and of course stunning interior decorations.
